City and State you and your spouse were reared: I grew up in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Lauren grew up in Piscataway, NJ.

How long have you been members of Straightway Baptist Church?Lauren and I are both Charter Members of Straightway Baptist Church. We have been around since the beginning and enjoy watching the Lord do a great work in the Princeton area!

Who invited you to join our church, or what interested you in joining our church? Lauren's dad had a little bit of influence on her coming to Straightway. Lauren invited me to visit Straightway in September of 2006, and I've been there ever since.

Comments about Pastor Guarneri: Pastor Guarneri is a great Man of God. He is a great example to our church Family. There is so much to learn from him. Pastor Guarneri is very knowledgeable and well educated. Having the Pastor of our church also be our Father/Father-in-Law, we can not be more blessed. We get to see the life he lives and know for certain that he is practicing what he preaches. He is a great Leader and someone to look up to. His preaching is out of this world. He takes Biblical truths and puts them on a level where the teenagers and elders of the church can all understand and incorporate them in their lives. I can go on, but in closing, Straightway Baptist Church is a great church because of our great leader!

Interesting story, incident, or answer to prayer: Lauren married me :)

Give us your salvation testimony: A friend of mine planted a seed many years back. About 6 years ago a different friend gave me a Bible and I would always read it at work. One day I was in the parking lot reading the gospels and when I read the story of Jesus healing the man in his bed, I then prayed and said, "I want that!" I shortly thereafter started going to a Baptist Church in Northern NJ. I got baptized and went faithfully until Lauren invited me to Straightway.

Give us your spouse’s testimony: Lauren was saved as a young child, with her dad. She grew up in a good Christian home in a good Bible believing Baptist Church! She is very blessed.

Of what ministries are you a part of? Soulwinning, Adult Sunday School Activity leaders, Ushering, Nursery, Set-Up ministry, Baptismal ministry, Eating-the-breakfast-ministry, and anywhere else we can help :).
