Getting Acquainted   Rose City and State you and your spouse were reared: I was born in Changewater, NJ, but grew up in Beachwood Heights, NJ. How long have you been members of Straightway Baptist Church? I have been attending since the summer of 2008. Who invited you to join our church, or what interested you in joining our church? I was praying for a church where the Word was preached for a while. I received a red ticket on my door and kept it. The next time I was home and Pastor Guarneri and Ilir knocked on my door and invited me to church. Pastor Guarneri picked me up for church and I have been coming ever since.       Comments about Pastor Guarneri: Pastor Guarneri is sincere and on fire for the Lord. HE has a love for souls in his heart. Interesting story, incident, or answer to prayer:  For many years my mother and younger brother Bud prayed for my husband Bob and I to be saved and for our protection. I didnt know this till years after we got saved.  Give us your salvation testimony:  I was raised in a Christian home where we had strong moral principles and was taught the BIble. I didn't get saved till February 8th, 1970 when my husband and I both walked the aisle at Miracle Temple in Philadelphia, PA on a Sunday morning and accepted Jesus as our Saviour. click here for more families
