Getting Acquainted   Mary and Abraham Mammen City and State you and your spouse were reared:We both grew up in India. We came to the United States and lived in Bloomfield, NJ and now in Monroe, NJ. How long have you been members of Straightway Baptist Church? Since December 2010 Who invited you to join our church, or what interested you in joining our church? Joy and two teenage girls knocked on our day on day. Pastor Guarneri followed up and arranged for us to get to church.       Comments about Pastor Guarneri: Pastor Guarneri is very very helpful, kind, generous and caring man. Even more than that, he is a God fearing person. Interesting story, incident, or answer to prayer:  As we were new in this area last December we didn't know where to go to church. Christmas was fast approaching and we never missed church for this occasion and we were very disappointed. Then the next day, Joy and two girls came to our door and told us about Straightway Baptist Church and arranged transportation for us to church. Through sickness and problems, God helped us and always through some one we got the help we needed. God is good! I know only what is good but God knows what is best for us. Give us your salvation testimony:  I, Mary, was brought up in an asian family. My parents were both God fearing and made sure their children never missed Sunday School, church services and family prayer. Durig the yearly convention at church at the age of 9, I stood up and witnessed Jesus as my Saviour. click here for more families
