Rod Hackett City and State you and your spouse were reared: I was raised in Newark,NJ. How long have you been members of Straightway Baptist Church?I have been attending Straightway since October 2008. Who invited you to join our church, or what interested you in joining our church?Mercy works at the Lawrenceville Senior Citizens Center and I told her I was looking for a church that provides transportation. She told me of Straightway Baptist Church. I called Lisa Guarneri and she picked me up that Sunday. I have been coming ever since.

Comments about Pastor Guarneri: Pastor preaches the Word of God and is here for the purpose of saving souls. I know I will get fed each service and he inspires me to make it through the week.

Interesting story, incident, or answer to prayer: I have been going to different churches in the area for the past 1.5 years, but there were no real messages and no altar call. God answered my prayer when he lead me to Straightway. I look foward to coming each week and now attend Wednesday night prayer meetings.

Give us your salvation testimony: One Christmas day I was visiting a friend of mine in Doylestown, PA. When I arrived, I was told that I had to wait till visiting hours. I stepped into a church where I heard beautiful music coming from inside. I hadn't been in church for over thirty years. I was so inspired that I went back to church the next Sunday. I was looking for churches for the next five years. Finally, I found one that spoke the truth and I got saved.
